Wattage is the single most misunderstood specification on a charger. Too little power and the machine drains its battery even while plugged in; too much is entirely safe. Below is every power level we stock, with real prices.

What is actually in stock at each wattage

Choosing the right wattage

Watts are simply volts multiplied by amps, so a 19.5V 3.34A adapter is around 65W. A replacement must meet or exceed the original figure: too low and the battery drains even while plugged in, too high is perfectly safe because the machine only draws what it asks for. The exception is USB-C Power Delivery, where the charger and laptop negotiate a profile – there the Party that matters is whether the port itself supports it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a 90W charger on a 65W laptop?
Yes. Higher wattage is safe as long as the voltage matches and the plug fits.

Can I use a 45W charger on a 90W laptop?
It will usually charge slowly or fail to run the machine under load. Match or exceed the original.

Does a higher wattage charger generate more heat?
No, if anything it runs cooler because it works further below its limit.
